Former Cardiff Met student Jeremiah Azu has completed an outstanding European Athletics Championships with a second gold medal, helping Great Britain & Northern Ireland to victory in the inaugural mixed 4x100m relay final in Birmingham. Cardiff Met Archer Mac Jones has been named Basketball Wales National League MVP for the 2025/26 season following an outstanding individual campaign. The international student produced a series of exceptional performances throughout the season, establishing himself as one of the competition's leading players and a key figure for the Archers. Jones averaged an impressive 32.6 points per game across the campaign, highlighted by a remarkable 50-point performance in Round 6.
